One of my favorite places: Doha
I had the opportunity to visit Doha, Qatar for the first time this summer. This was the most beautiful city I had ever seen. The architecture of the city was incredible because it incorporated traditional influences to the modern design. The focus on lighting seemed to be an important feature throughout the entire city, and it was gorgeously created with every building being illuminated somehow. This picture may look computer generated, but trust me, it's that impressive. Doha sits right next to the Persian Gulf so it offers the elegance of city life with an escape to the calm beaches right at your doorstep.

Oh wow, what a picture, Shifa! And how cool that you have been to Qatar! A friend of mine was going to move there because of her husband's job, but then at the last minute they sent him somewhere else. Skyscrapers and beaches: it sounds like fun!
